Cartoon Skeletons

Works by Davidson Drawing 3 Students based on the work of Michael Paulus...  Examples are on the following blog.  http://www.bookofjoe.com/2008/09/cool-or-creepy.html

We talk about basic anatomy, I give them a skeleton handout and let the creative juices decide how that skewed body will work.  I encourage the students to use the page to illustrate their color palette much like the paintings of Steve Seeley.  http://www.thedelicatematter.com/dm79.html

GIFs

My SLO's are testing students on knowledge coming in and knowledge leaving the classroom.  They were expected to create a looping, fluid animation of at least 5 frames in Flash, and then export it as a gif animation.  Only one of 74 students passed this test with a 75% at the beginning of the semester.  100% passed it this week.  Here they are.
